Hello, helloooo! 😃👋🏾
Happy New Month to You!😎
June sped by huh?
Well, in all things, we give thanks. 🙏🏽
All glory to God.
I’ve got a quick question for you:
Do you know the catchy tune in the most recent Coca Cola advert?
🎶🎵Taste the feeling..🎵🎶
That’s the tune that’s ringing in my mind right now. 😃
King David, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, says in Psalms 34:8 that;
“Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!”
Psalms 34:8 NKJV
Taste. There’s an action involved. Taste buds are involved. The senses are involved. Taste.
There’s always a sweetness when the Word of God is always on our lips.
“How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!”
Psalm 119:103 NIV
King David had this revelation on what it means to have tasted of the Lord. The
Word of God is God Himself.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
John 1:1 NIV
This sweetness only comes from the Word of God; Prophet Ezekiel testifies to this:
“Then he said to me, “Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it.” So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth.”
Ezekiel 3:3 NIV
What we read in the Word of God, then this Word forms the basis of our speech.
Once we read the Word of God, this Word will always be on our lips. Jesus tells us this in Matthew 12:34
“… For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”
Matthew 12:34 NIV
Once we have read, internalized and understood the Word; God tells us to share this sweetness with others:
“He then said to me: “Son of man, go now to the people of Israel and speak my words to them.”
Ezekiel 3:4 NIV
We are to soak our words in good seasoning; and this seasoning is the Word of God.
“Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.”
Colossians 4:6 NIV
Cue in #SaltBae😉
We should only speak what God tells us in His Word.
What kind of words do you speak? Are your words full of flavour?
Make daily declarations over yourself based on what God says about you. The good things you keep speaking over yourself will come into existence!
““You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways.”
JOB 22:28 AMP
Words have creative power through the Holy Spirit.
Regardless of the situation, always speak forth that which you want to happen.
I speak over you that:
You are who God says you are.
You will do what God says you can do.
Now I’d like you to personalize the declarations above and replace “You” with “I” or your own name.
God’s Word is so sweet!
I can a-taste to that! 😉
What’s your positive declaration today? I’m looking forward to hearing from you. Let’s catch up in the comments section below. 😃
God loves you.
