Those who think the Bible is boring clearly haven’t read it well!😂😂😂
Or they’re reading it without the help of the Holy Spirit. (The Holy Spirit helps you understand all things)
When I got born again, I asked God to make the Bible funny for me because I like laughing!😁
God did exactly that.
Oh, I forgot to say hello at the beginning.
How are you doing, ninjas of God? 😀
Now that salutations are out of the way, let’s get right to it! Let me highlight a few stories that tickled me:
Dzaddy Chronicles
“Then Boaz said to his servant who was in charge of the reapers, “Whose young woman is this?””
Ruth 2:5 NKJV

Boaz was like, dibs on that damsel… let none of y’all fellas touch her.
“Then Boaz said to Ruth, “You will listen, my daughter, will you not? …… Have I not commanded the young men not to touch you? And when you are thirsty, go to the vessels and drink from what the young men have drawn.””
Ruth 2:8-9 NKJV
Boaz immediately marked his territory by calling Ruth his “daughter” and forbade men on his field(s) from touching her. We see you Boaz, we see you!

Ruth also had some tricks up her sleeve thanks to Naomi:
“So she fell on her face, bowed down to the ground, and said to him, “Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?”
Ruth 2:10 NKJV
Girl, we know you were working under instruction. Now go glean some grain and the man too! 😉
Boaz on the other hand:
And Boaz answered and said to her, “It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before. The Lord repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.””
Ruth 2:11-12 NKJV
Little did Boaz know that the Lord wanted him as Ruth’s reward.🤭🙈 Saucy!😏 😉
“And now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you all that you request, for all the people of my town know that you are a virtuous woman.”
Ruth 3:11 NKJV
Boaz called Ruth ‘my daughter’ and he eventually became her Dzaddy😋😋😋🤭
Ladies, take note of “…. I will do for you all that you request …”
That Boaz energy is what we deserve in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
King Nebuchadnezzar
This ninja was crazy lol!
So crazy was he that God made him eat grass…Yikes! Imagine how vexed our slow-to-anger God, must have been for Him to punish Nebuchadnezzar like that. Pre-Jesus times were nuts I tell you. Thank God for salvation. Nebuchadnezzar’s story is found in the Book of Daniel so you can acquaint yourself with his antics and misdeeds.
As I read the part where he threw Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego to the fire and he saw a fourth figure with them; I wondered what his reaction could have been.
“Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, “Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?” They replied, “Certainly, Your Majesty.””
Daniel 3:24 NIV

Paul to the Corinthians vs. Paul to the Galatians
Paul had different tones when addressing the Church of Galatia vis-a-vis the Church of Corinth. Both churches had their shortcomings especially on the issue of sexual immorality, but let’s see how Paul addressed them…
To the Corinthians:
“I hope you will put up with me in a little foolishness. Yes, please put up with me! I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.”
2 Corinthians 11:1-4 NIV
Paul is literally pleading with the Corinthians to change their ways.
To the Galatians:
“Paul, an apostle—sent not from men nor by a man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead—”
Galatians 1:1 NIV
First of all, he starts his epistle boldly in Galatians 1:1; a far cry from “I hope you will put up with me in a little foolishness…” in 2 Corinthians 11:1
Then we get into the fireworks!💥
“You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh? Have you experienced so much in vain—if it really was in vain?”
Galatians 3:1-4 NIV

Could someone give Paul a glass of water at this point? Bro-ski was livid!
“I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.”
Galatians 3:5 NLT

As you can see, Paul was gentle in his tone with the Corinthians but the Galatians got it rough! And yet, the church of Corinth had a congregant who was sleeping with his father’s wife!👀
It is actually reported [everywhere] that there is sexual immorality among you, a kind of immorality that is condemned even among the [unbelieving] Gentiles: that someone has [an intimate relationship with] his father’s wife.1 Corinthians 5:1 AMP
Who should have received the harsher tone between the Corinthians and Galatians in that case then? When we get to heaven, Paul needs to tell us what the Church of Galatia did to him.

Elisha
“And it came to pass, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel. Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” And he said, “Yes, I know; keep silent!””
II Kings 2:1-3 NKJV
In other words, Elisha told the prophets to shut up. This guy was quite the temperamental one.😡😠Read up on how Elisha sent bears to kill forty children for making fun of his bald head. Couldn’t the brother take a joke?

The Chronicles of River Jordan
Elijah parting the River Jordan
“And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood facing them at a distance, while the two of them stood by the Jordan. Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water; and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground.”
II Kings 2:7-8 NKJV
Elijah parting the River Jordan…. again
“He also took up the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan. Then he took the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, “Where is the Lord God of Elijah?” And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over.”
II Kings 2:13-14 NKJV
River Jordan was probably used to being parted by now…. Lol!🤭
Priests carrying the ark of the covenant parting the River Jordan
“And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap.” So it was, when the people set out from their camp to cross over the Jordan, with the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people, and as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest), that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at Adam, the city that is beside Zaretan. So the waters that went down into the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, and were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho. Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan.”
Joshua 3:13-17 NKJV

These stories just come alive in my mind when I read them. God has an amazing sense of humour! 😂
Alright folks, those are enough teasers for today. Now go read the Bible for yourself and let me know which story/stories you find hilarious.
You are hereby dismissed.
God loves you. ❤
