Hey! Hey! Hey!
Remember me? I do not blame you if you do not. I have not posted anything for a very long time and I am really sorry for that. It has been a really long ride but worry not, for I am still alive to tell the tale. Now, for those who may not know, I am finally done with my final examinations for my undergraduate! Can I hear an Amen?
Four years seem to have passed by within the bat of an eyelid! Not far back I was trying to figure out how to get to the Nairobi Central Business District using public means and today, I am trying to figure out how to get a job! Now I understand why relatives who have not met you in a while keep saying “umekuwa mkubwa” because indeed, mimi ni mkubwa sasa! I am all grown up, wearing high heels and red lipstick…. Uh-huh!
My parents are overly excited about this recent achievement as they can now rest from paying school fees. I am the last born so they are more than happy to hang their boots when it comes to the school fees sector. I can picture my mother relaxing on a sun bed along the beach side with a glass of cold tropical juice in hand. My dad would probably be reading a newspaper somewhere on a comfortable sofa.
It has been a wonderful journey nonetheless. I have had quite the ride and I am extremely grateful because God’s mercy never ceases to amaze me. When I think about my blessings, it gets hard to name them one by one because I get overwhelmed by their abundance! I have a lot going on (in a good way) for a young lady like myself and I am grateful to God and to everyone who has been with me and helped me become a better person in this journey. My graduation is coming up in June so I believe that this is ample notice for a good and elaborate gift. Feel free and feel lavish too. 😉
Here are some fun times at Strathmore University captured on camera:
The Final Year Dinner hosted at the Strathmore University was anything but amazing to say the least. In case you are wondering, I took a selfie, in my true photo-crazed style.
In a totally unrelated topic, I tried on red lipstick for the first time in my life and I must say that the feeling is amazing! Need I repeat? A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! If I need an esteem boost, my red lipstick is my go-to guide. I feel so powerful and vivacious when in this lipstick (LA Colours Jazzy red). I could go on and on about my perfect red pout and what better way to elaborate than a selfie? Here you go… So now, dear reader, I do hope to post again so stay tuned for more!
Hugsies!
That Lady.
